The Pennington Biomedical Center

The Pennington Biomedical Center is recognized as one of the world's outstanding nutrition research centers - the largest academic nutrition research center in the world, with the world's largest concentration of obesity specialists. Located in Baton Rouge, the Pennington Center now houses more than 600 faculty, post-doctoral researchers, clinical and laboratory staff and employees dedicated to the mission to "promote healthier lives through research and education in nutrition and preventive medicine."
