LANDRIEU HOSTS DAY OF FUN AT RENAISSANCE VILLAGE
Free Entertainment - Storytelling, Face Painting, Music of Big Sam's Funky Nation
WHAT: Lt. Governor Mitch Landrieu and the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism will host a free day of entertainment, stories, food and fun with the residents of the Renaissance Village in Baker, Louisiana. The day will feature storytelling, face-painting, games and activities. In addition, the State Library will have an open house, BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo will have a display and Barnes and Noble's SPOT the Dog will be in attendance. Bags will be given for children ages 0-12 and music will be provided by Big Sam's Funky Nation Band. The event is free and open to the public.

WHERE: Renaissance Village, Community Tent & Library
DIRECTIONS: Take Interstate 110 north to the Scotlandville/ Baker exit. Turn right on LA 19 and go 3.6 miles to Groom Road. Turn left on Groom Road, cross the railroad tracks and Renaissance Village is a half of a mile ahead on the left.
