LOUISIANA STATE PARKS

CLOSURES RELATED THE AUGUST 12-13 FLOODING:

  • The group camp at Bogue Chitto State Park is closed until further notice, for repairs to the floor.
  • Lake Fausse Pointe SP will reopen for day-use only on Oct. 1; overnight facilities will remain closed until further notice for flood-related repairs. The park's hours will be 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., 7 days/week, until the overnight facilities reopen.
  • Tickfaw SP is open for day-use and camping. The cabins remain closed for flood-related repairs.
