property
affected:
Cabrini, 5500 Paris Ave.
Comments: FEMA, Cabrini is a wonderful "building" that deserves to be saved. Cabrini Church and its parishioners have suffered the benign neglect of the Archdiocese for too many years. It is unconsionable that the Archdiocese wouldn't grant access to those that wanted to clean up Cabrini and it isn't right for the Archdiocese to withhold the insurance money that belongs to the people that paid to insure Cabrini. Leaking roofs can be fixed... New Orleans has the Super Dome and its beloved Saints back.... Gentilly can have Cabrini back too. Its about the location of Cabrini, if it were to the back of the proerty we wouldn't be having this argument. Location and greed. I understand that Holy Cross doesn't want Cabrini to have the preeminent location on the acreage, but that is where Cabrini deserves to be. They'll say I can't speak to this issue because I am from Texas....so is Drew Brees. Cabrini deserves the recognition it has received and Cabrini deserves to be rebuilt.
