Comments: What "new vibrant Catholic community"? Holy Cross has not made known any plans to put a new Church. (not since July, but they reneged on that one) No one has made their plans known for the former Cabrini parishioners now back in their homes. Will we be part of THEIR "new vibrant Catholic community" or will we continue to get in our cars and go to Mass every Sunday at St. Pius? The feeling we have is that this is just one big land grab masquerading as "education."

Holy Cross / Archdiocese -- what is your answer???

Maybe if someone would answer that question, we wouldn't be so intimidated by you bullying your way into our neighborhood.

(Previous post:)
"As a recently confirmed Catholic (completed RCIA in 2006), I am amazed by the individuals who are not willing to put aside a building for a new, vibrant Catholic community in the neighborhood -- isn't the "church" dependent on people? Without a community the church will sit vacant, so what is the point of preservation?"
