Comments: As a Holy Cross alum and admirer of the community most of them have built and stand for, I recommend that FEMA and other agencies involved with determining the historic status of St. Francis Cabrini Church take due time and consideration needed to make a fair, balanced and well-thought-out decision. It would be a shame if this decision were rushed due to the childlike demands of a few Holy Cross "bullies" demanding that things be done their way no matter what other considerations may be necessary. Holy Cross should and is able work around whatever decision is made, and if they fail to that is a reflection on their desire to be uncompromising. It was na´ve of them to think they could leave their existing campus, buy a new site, tear down the buildings, and build a new campus in the time-table they had originally announced. Also, at the current Cabrini Site, has there not been the co-existence of a middle school, high school, and SFC Church in the past? Of there has been. That's what it was like before the storm with St. Francis Cabrini Church and School and Redeemer Seaton. So, please take all due consideration when determining the fate of the Church, and do not be fooled by some members of the Holy Cross community's antics. They have and will have all the opportunities to bring back their great school no matter what happens with the Church.
