Comments: The redevelopement of Gentilly is greatly dependant on the building of Holy Cross. Cabrini Church has proven itself to be functionally obsolete throughout the years. The A/C system is inefficient. The roof leaks. The architecture is OK, at best. I mean, c'mon people! We're not tearing down St. Louis Cathedral to put up a strip mall. I would be willing to bet all of my future earnings that Holy Cross will build structures that will enhance the new landscape of Gentilly even better than the CabriniDome ever did. We should not forget, but we MUST move on. WHEN, Holy Cross moves to Gentilly, we are going to see a rebirth of the neighborhood that will give the whole city a much needed breath of fresh air. There are a lot of problems that never seem to get better here in New Olreans. This is a potential bright spot. Let's make the right choice. Thanks!
