|Cabrini Church property
||I lived for many years in Cabrini Parish. My parents lived there until their deaths. The church building in question was ugly from the beginning and not very Catholic looking. It was incredibly expensive to construct, the roof leaked from the get-go and the inside was acoustically unworkable. Manitenance on this white elephant was outlandishly expensive.
I also taught at Holy Cross school for 18 years; my husband is a graduate as are our three sons. Holy Cross has been a vital part of the New Orleans area since 1879, with its original building actually on the National Register of historic buildings.
Please allow this wonderful place to relocate in its new neighborhood. Destroy that eyesore!
