||Once again I would like to point out to all of you who want to save the building. This building was of poor design. Regular maintenance cost were incrediably high. Utility cost to air condition and heat the facility were outrageous and all of that was before it sustained tremendous damage from sitting under six feet of water for 3 weeks. Why put millions of dollars into a facility that will continue to be a maintenance nightmare for years to come? Why would anyone think that the parish could sustain the facility now when they were unable to keep it up before the storm? At the same time Holy Cross should not be burdened with those added expenses either.
