Sexton buildings
Comments: In New Orleans, we have a group that raises money to preserve the historic nature of cemeteries -- Save Our Cemeteries. Need it be said that a major part of the attraction of the city is the preserved living history of its public places, of which cemeteries are a major component. The first time I saw a sexton building was at Holt Cemetery. I have since returned to that very unique cemetery, of which the sexton building is a signature feature. Please do not demolish these buildings. Find a way to save them. It's good for history. It's good for us as Americans to remember how things were, especially when they still are -- they're still functional buildings. There's no reason to tear them down.

Kind regards,
Brian D.
