||As a parishnor of St. Frances Cabrini for forty years I certainly have memories of good times and good people. However, the church building itself NEVER had good memories whenever one had to open or shut the massive doors which NEVER closed properly allowing air conditiioning and heat to escape. This fact alone should tell the architects their design was flawed from the very begining. The building was nice, to be sure, but in no way should it be considered historic. The benefit of Holy Cross moving to the neighborhood far outweighs any memories of the present church building.
