Comments: I have lived in Broadmoor since 1977. I have served on the Board of the Broadmoor Improvement Association 79-82, a contributor to the BIA Newsletter, and a member of the BIA for years. Post-Katrina, I have served on the Education Committee, the Writing Committee, and the Crime Committee. I am passionate about restoring my own home post-Katrina, and I understand the importance of the Columbs restoring their family home, built in 1929, as part of their personal history and New Orleans' architectural history. Please do not demolish this home. The monies are in place to have restoration done, and it is imperative that we allow families to restore their family homes post-Katrina.
