Comments: am thankful that this process is almost over and we can be done with the horrible and angry post on this web site!

As a property owner in Vista Park I ask FEMA to please release 5500 Paris Ave from the 106 review and allow Holy Cross to move forward with it's plans for the new campus! My husband and I have invested everything into rebuilding our home, our neighborhood needs Holy Cross to help us move forward. The choice is between a building and people trying to rebuild their lives after horrible devastation, it should be an easy choice! All the people who are living out of town and don't plan to return will not support this church, the church was having hard time financially before the storm how will they ever keep up now?

It's so easy to say "Holy Cross should keep the building" but why? It will not bring back the parish and will just put the financial load of upkeep on Holy Cross, no school should be forced to upkeep a building this large that will suit no purpose for them. They do not need or have use for a building this large, the only time this building was filled was for graduations, once a year use does not make up for the cost to maintain the building.

Please look at the families that NEED this who are working hard and putting everything they have into these neighborhoods and think what you would do if it was your family!
