Comments: FEMA,
PLEASE DO FALL VICTIM TO THOSE WHO WISH TO IMPEDE THE PROGRESS OF OUR RECOVERING CITY. HOLY CROSS WILL BE A MUCH NEEDED SHOT OF ECONOMIC MEDICINE FOR OUR SLOWLY RECOVERING NEIGHBORHOOD AND CITY.
WHILE THE DESIGN OF THIS BUILDING MAY HAVE HAD SOME SIGNIFICANCE WHEN IT WAS BUILT, IT DOES NOT NEED TO SURVIVE AS AN EXAMPLE OF AN ERA WHEN SO MANY OTHER STRUCTURES SIMILAR TO IT ARE AROUND . THE BUILDING 'S REPLACEMENT WITH A FACILITY THAT WILL AFFECT SO MANY LIVES IN THE FUTURE , FAR OUT WEIGH ITS DEBATABLE AND PERCEIVED(NOT PROVEN) VALUE TO ONLY THE ARCHITECTURAL WORLD.
LET OUR CITY AND NEIGHBORHOOD CONTINUE TO MOVE FORWARD AND NOT STAND STILL ANY LONGER.
