Name: GeorgiAnne Frederick Brochstein
City: Marble Falls, TX
Specific
property
affected:
Saint Frances Cabrini
Comments: FEMA, my late husband Hamilton Frederick was part of the design team at Curtis and Davis and I can assure you that neither "Buster" Curtis, Ham Frederick, Sydney Foltz, Arthur Davis, Val Dancereaux nor any of the other archtitects involved were raving lunatics.

Bless you Mrs. Curtis for trying to get the truth out. The incredible loss that has already taken place because of lack of appreciation and ability to recognize the quality of the materials is monumental. I am astounded that pieces of marble from Carrera were treated with such indifference.

If it were't so sad it would be laughable that some feel the need to tear down a building that would cost tens of millions to replicate today in order to replace it with something that meets their aesthetic criteria, and timetable.

This never should have been an "either/or" situation and this never should have pitted people against one another. What happened to common sense. Hasn't enough been lost?

"Friends of Cabrini" I join you and I wish you success.

FEMA, save Cabrini
