ArtsReady is a disaster readiness web-based portal program that prepares arts facilities for disaster and business continuity planning before a crisis hits.

This program is to provide subsidies for Louisiana Arts organizations to participate in the premium service.

Through the premium service, ArtsReady will:

  • Provide organizations with a readiness assessment
  • Assist in the creation and completion of a disaster plan
  • Provide offsite electronic storage space for your critical documents
  • Connect your organization to other recovery resources and peer groups

Funding for Louisiana participants in the ArtsReady pilot subsidy program for Louisiana is provided by the Hurricane Relief and Recovery Fund at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation - in partnership with the Louisiana Division of the Arts and the Louisiana Partnership for the Arts.

ABOUT THE ARTSREADY LOUISIANA SUBSIDY PHASE II PROGRAM:

This program is open to 501(c)3 arts organizations domiciled in Louisiana and who are in good standing with the IRS, Louisiana Secretary of State and Louisiana State Auditor.

Additional eligibility requirements include:

  • The organization must present or produce art for a general audience
  • The organization must have one full time staff member
  • The organization must have a budget size of at least $100,000
  • The organization must be incorporated for at least two years

Approved applicants will be eligible for subsidy to the ArtsReady program for three years. Your participation cost will be $50 each year for three years under the subsidy. In year four a flat price of $300 for a new ArtsReady Premium Member, for their first year, and a renewal price of $225/year thereafter will be applied.
